You Break Through

I had my first visit at Mission Gorge Modern Dentistry today, and I can honestly say it was a much better experience than I expected. Like many people, I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist and have never been a fan of dental visits. From the moment I walked in, however, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and at ease. A special thank you to **Ms. Bailey** at the front desk. She greeted me with such kindness and professionalism, making the check-in process smooth and helping calm my nerves before my appointment even started. The young lady who took my X-rays was also incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name, but she made what is usually an uncomfortable part of the visit feel much easier. Her friendly attitude did not go unnoticed. Most importantly, **Dr. Renato Bravo** was outstanding. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood my treatment options without ever making me feel rushed. His professionalism, knowledge, and compassionate approach really stood out. It's rare to find a dentist who is both informative and genuinely caring, and I truly appreciated that. Although I'll probably never love going to the dentist, the entire team at Mission Gorge Modern Dentistry made today's visit far less stressful than I anticipated. They created a welcoming, comfortable environment, and I left feeling confident that I was in good hands. Thank you to everyone for making such a positive impression. I would definitely recommend Mission Gorge Modern Dentistry to anyone looking for a friendly, caring, and professional dental office.

Immaculate dental experience. Front desk? Lovely and welcoming. Building, clean crisp and tons of parking. But the dental care was the best I’ve ever had. For someone with sensitivity and some fear/shame around dental care, the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable and I have an actual PLAN to tackle my mouth going forward. Honestly pretty reasonable too. Could not recommend more.

7/8/2026 - I'm modifying my review to remove one star and provide more detail. I'm still happy with the dental work I received (so my original review still stands), but the billing process was confusing and the billing department was unresponsive. At the time of my crown, there was a vague "upgrade fee" of almost $700 on my bill that seemed unusual. I contacted my insurance company and they said the charge was incorrect. I then contacted the dental office and spoke to the office manager who promised to look into it and get back to me. They never got back to me and never returned any of my followup phone calls. I filed an appeal with my insurance company. They agreed the "upgrade fee" was inappropriate and issued a full refund. According to the insurance company customer service representative, this isn't an uncommon occurrence, and the takeaway is that consumers need to understand exactly what they're being charged for and what their insurance coverage is. I had a great experience with Mission Gorge Modern Dentistry today. I had an old crown pop off, and they were able to get me in quickly to see Dr. Bravo for a new one. He and his assistant Samantha were very professional and continually checked in with me during the various procedures to make sure I was comfortable. I've only been coming here for 6 months, but I really like the overall practice so far and am very glad I found them!
